NORMOSAN - infusion of the mixture used as a laxative in constipation.

DIRECTIONS: The maximum daily dose of glycosides is 30 mg. It is a dose equivalent to 1 sachet medicinal product. 1 sachet pour 1 cup boiling water, infuse for about 15 minutes. Before you head to bed to drink at one time from 2/3 to fully prepared infusion. Laxative effect takes an average of 6-10 hours. The correct individual dose is the lowest dose necessary to achieve a soft stool. When first applying the best drink 2/3 cup of the brew. If the therapeutic effect can not occur the next time (not earlier than the day) increase the dose to the whole cup of brew. Not recommended for use for more than 7-10 days. Best not to use more than 2-3 times a week. Do not use in children under 12 years.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to the crumb, senna or any component of the product. Occlusion, stenosis or intestinal atony, inflammatory diseases of the colon (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), appendicitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, renal failure, menstrual bleeding, dehydration and electrolyte disturbances (especially hypokalemia).

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Very rarely in patients with hypersensitivity may occur: itching, hives, local or generalized rash. In very rare cases, buckthorn bark and leaves of senna can cause cramps in the abdomen and watery stool, particularly in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. These symptoms are often the result of a drug overdose in which case the dose should be reduced. Long-term use / addiction can lead to disorders of water and electrolyte. Diarrhea in particular can lead to a loss of potassium which in turn may cause cardiac arrhythmias and muscle weakness, particularly if you are also taking cardiac glycosides, diuretics, adrenocorticosteroids or licorice root. Prolonged treatment may cause reversible pigmentation changes in the mucosa of the colon, may also have proteinuria and hematuria. During treatment can lead to discoloration of urine, which can cause distorted results of diagnostic tests. If you experience any side effects, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
