SYLIMAROL contains sylibum husk dry extract (silybi mariani fructus extractum siccum). Auxiliary treatment in convalescence following toxic and metabolic damage of the liver caused by toxins (e.g. alcohol or plant pesticides) and indigestion (with flatulence and belching) after heavy meals. Auxiliary treatment of disorders after acute or chronic liver diseases. Liver protection by silymarin concentrate is to stabilize liver cell membrane to protect against the harmful effects of toxic substances.
DIRECTIONS: Adults and adolescents over 12: 2 tablets 3 times after meals, unless recommended otherwise by a doctor. Requires systematic administration from 2 or 4 weeks to 6 months of treatment. Consult the duration of administration with a doctor. After consulting a doctor or after severe poisoning, the dosage can be increased to 10 tablets a day. The minimum daily dose of silymarin is 200 mg, the maximum daily dose is 400 mg. Due to the lack of safety data, not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to any of the components or plants from the family of Asteraceae (Compositae). No trials have been carried out on administration in children; hence it is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: A mild laxative effect.
